ABOUT NITMUN
NITMUN is a forum convened by the members of the Literary Circle for discussion and analysis of global issues. It seeks to bring out motivated delegates from all over the country for brainstorming and discussing over significant international issues. Organised by the Literary Circle, NITMUN promises a challenging yet a very entertaining time to all delegates. It requires the entire workforce of the club to come up with a topic or a committee that really instigates each and every delegate to ponder. And then, the best executive boards from all over the country are brought together to make sure that every delegate grows and becomes better at the end of the conference.
Our greatest goal is to make sure that each delegate learns how to tackle world issues better at the end of the conference as the world is in dire need of young leaders now. Currently in its 9th edition, NITMUN has been extremely successful in providing the perfect experience to each delegate. Over the years, we have entertained more than 1000 delegates in total. Delegates arrive from all corners of India for an experience they will never forget.

THE LITERARY CIRCLE PRESENTS
NITMUN X
The Literary Circle is the club in NIT Durgapur, which
gives the college an extra dimension of creative expression in the midst of technical unilateralism.
The colours of the imaginative faculties are meant to provide the college an experience and
opportunity transcending the ordinary and mundane.
Literary Circle is a self perpetuating phenomenon of creativity and talent, and it exists here, of
the students, for the students and by the students of NIT Durgapur.
We are a bunch of
creative souls, who believe in creating greatness out of the simple joys and drives in life. In the
onslaught of exams, assignments, deadlines, code and diagrams, it is very easy to lose who you are.
Trust us, we know.
The creative dies in the birth of the technical, the cold, the calculating.
To put it simply, the Literary Circle's goal is to not let that creativity die. Or the simple joys.
Creativity. Of wit and art. Of words and poems. Of diplomacy and fun. Of friendships and of
heartbreaks.
The simple joys. Of making a good argument. Winning an applause. Asking your crush out to prom. Of
racking your brains till you solve a mystery. Of intellectual conversations and jubilant laughter.
Or the emotion. Of the nostalgia and love that will become a part of you in college.
So be it NIT Durgapur's official Model United Nations, NITMUN.
Or the myriad of pro udly non-technical, cultural events at Verve, or the themed Prom associated
with it.
Or Humans Of NIT Durgapur, highlighting the greatness and sorrow, in equal measure, in all of us.
Or the YearBook, which serves as a testament to the roller-coaster which our college has been for
all our beloved final years.
The Literary Circle wishes to be the custodian of all things innately dear, and simply human.
